Mount Plesant / Charleston

Great spot, large patio with comfy chairs and a nice fire pit. Do you see Darrel on the roof? He is doing a A/C unit repair.

Supervising the roof work from a safe distance. I'm not insured if i go on the roof!

Motorhome by night.

As the sun sets, we took Cody for a walk. Yes, avoid the water, like usual in the south.

Gators! eeek!

Lovely walk as the sun setts. So peaceful and relaxing.

Nice pool, but it was closed for the season.

The lake is nice for boating, but no swimming due to gators.

Charleston has some great sites to see, like Rainbow Row.

More colourful houses along Rainbow Row.

Cody is loving meeting new people and checking out new cities.

We crossed over this bridge to get downtown.

The legendary pineapple fountain.

- Review: Easy to navigate campground, with paved roads, some shaded spots but still great clearance for Starlink. One of our A/C units started making a loud noise so Darrel inspected and deemed we needed a part. Ordered the parts and just had to use the two other A/C units. Not a big deal, but the weather is hot and we have lots of sun. We like to keep the motorhome cool for Cody. He hates the heat, and well, so does Darrel. We took a short drive downtown to see Charleston and I am so glad we did. The city has so much souther charm and lots to see. Charleston has lots to offer, but we only stayed a few hours and made our way back to the motorhome for dinner and to feed Cody. We had a great day sightseeing and enjoying the people we met.
