Checking out the Bureau Of Land Management (BKM) Red Cliffs National Conservation Area - Lots of people using the land for day use and a few people camping longer term. I guess you can stay for a few weeks in one spot for free. Nice option for people who have a van or smaller rig. I can see Stacy staying for free in her van under the Utah sky. https://www.blm.gov/programs/national-conservation-lands/utah/red-cliffs-nca

Zion National Park is a beautiful park 30-40 minutes from St. George. The townsite before the park reminds me of Canmore and the park itself is reminiscent of Banff National Park. I am sure glad we took the time to visit the park, hike around a little and check out the sites. - https://www.nps.gov/zion/index.htm

A beautiful park to hike around right in St. George. Parking is limited so go early and enjoy the sites - http://utahhikingbeauty.com/pioneer-park-and-the-crack/

Southern Utah Campground

IMG_0182First state on our way home - Utah

IMG_5016Beautiful weather, chilling outside after our drive from Vegas.

IMG_5014Lovely pool filled with kids.

IMG_5018Amazing vistas.

IMG_5411Food trucks a few times a week.

IMG_5412The pizza was awesome. Nice spot to sit and eat.

IMG_5463Shaelah, you need this sign for your pool.

IMG_5493Now that is tumbleweed.

IMG_5019Great views in every direction.

IMG_5467Our campsite was spacious thought it was a pull-in and not a pull-through.

IMG_5466Campground map. I would avoid the pull-thought sites if staying longer than a few days.

Close to so many things to see and do. I really enjoyed Utah as there is so much to do outdoors. We had great weather and a few days over 30 degrees Celsius. I would stay here again, as it's a good home base to all the things to see and do in the area. Be sure to visit Zion National Park - WOW!

Journey North (Fourth Leg)

Journey North - Fourth Leg

Sadly we start our journey north

Tomorrow we embark on our trip north (fourth leg) and they are calling for some nasty weather. I think we will stay an extra week in Southern Utah to ride out the stormy weather. I really don't want to hit a lot of snow on our way north through the passes in Utah and Montana (each side of Helena).
