A short drive north of Tucson to the Ancestral Sonoran Desert People's home - Casa Grande.

It was impressive to see what was built in the middle of of Sonoran desert with mud and water.

There was an extensive network of canals that allowed the people to grow corn (for over 4,100 years in the area). It amazes me that people were able to live in this harsh summer desert, I guess if there is a will there is a way!
