Today is February 29, a leap year and also a good day to get out to Tucson and sightsee some of the towns. Today we ventured out to Tombstone, a quick 1 hour drive from Tucson and it's a must see. I really enjoyed experiencing the history of the old west and the townspeople do a great job! The town is free to visit but many of the attractions have a small fee ($5 to $10), as this is how they make money. Today's Tombstone is tourism and not silver mines. I've included a few links to for you to read upon on the history and things to do! We stayed for 3 or 4 hours, so take an afternoon and enjoy the drive and sights. Note: Ironically, the last gunfight is at the same time as the infamous 3:00 PM gunfight that took place on October 26, 1881.
