From the Sub-Tropics of Florida to the Desert of Arizona

Tomorrow we embark on our trip west (third leg) and will stop to get our annual service done in Red Bay Alabama and make our way back down to the Gulf for the warm weather. We will stop in to visit friends along the way! I am sad to leave Florida but I am happy to find some familiar territory in Arizona soon. Safe Travels!

SpaceX rocket launch.

3-2-1 BLAST OFF

We were walking Cody and noticed that there was a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral. The rocket boosters re-entered orbit and ignited their engines to navigate back to Cape Canaveral, SpaceX reuses the boosters. It was cool to experience, this was the second launch while we have been down in Florida but the first we seen.

Checking out Chastain Beach.

Lots of exposed coral, the beach has had a lot of erosion and officially is closed.

A New Year, A New Beach

While Christmas shopping, someone pointed out that Chastain Beach would be a great place to visit and see the surfers and is close by. Darrel, Cody and I decided to take a some time and drive 40 minutes to check out the beach, and I am sure glad we did. The road to the beach takes you across many bridges and down narrow windy streets along the beach houses and sand dunes. Happy New Year everyone! Stay safe and happy trails.
