IMG_3529Oh look, a large coach like ours fits!

IMG_3530All aboard.

IMG_1374Oil tankers all queued up waiting to enter the port.

IMG_3540Ships as far as the eye can see - I think we counted over 30 waiting.

The ferry was quick and easy to board. I was really surprised to find out that the ferry was free and ran 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I think this is the quickest way to a hospital for many, via the hospital express boarding lane. There is very little stores (grocery and what not) on the Bolivar Peninsula, so a quick trip to Galveston lets you do your major shopping and pick up the much needed milk, bread and TP! Winking
