The Terry Fox Monument is a must see if you are in the area. There is a new highway now, but the spot where Terry Fox stopped his journey has been preserved near by. Out of respect for Terry Fox (I believe), it is not advertised, but when arriving or departing, if look closely and you can see it memorialized surrounded by grass and trees.

Ahhhhh, put on your water wings! When driving to town, the road disappeared into the lake and it fell like we were going to get wet! I feel the education system in Alberta has failed me as I did not learn much about the great lakes, or Canada for that matter. I had no idea that Lake Superior (or any of the great lakes) are connected. It was a surprise to see oil tankers in the lake. Why can't Alberta oil come to the oil tankers here and then out to tide water?

- Review: $66.00 a night with full hookups. Nice area to walk Cody and the dog area has a splash pool for dogs. We did not use the splash pool but I could see it very useful in the hot summer months.
